Pinch pinch!

Kayla is getting a good laugh out of pinching mommy's leg and eliciting an "ouch" response...

It's funny...it's funny...

I am a happy baby girl...
Things are just so funny sometimes,
I crack myself up everyday.
Auntie dora, I hope my smile makes your day...

Tomorrow will be a better day...

My poor baby today got bitten by Brownie... She was so excited to see Brownie, and just wanted to show her some love. Perhaps even Brownie thought Kayla was to irresistablely delicious looking, it jumped up and bit her right on the lips. Grandpa was so angry he wanted to give Brownie back to the shelter. Lala was so brave, she barely cried for five seconds. After that she was more amused at all the attention she was getting. Grandpa freaked out and burned his vegetables on the grill. Grandma and Mommy freaked out and woke up the doctor on call. Luckily there was the bravest girl we've ever seen, the only one that was not freaked out at all.
The lip turned black, part of it at least, after the bleeding stopped. Then there she was again, dancing around, laughing and playing... as if nothing had happened.

Then there's her diaper rash too... and her runny nose...

Tomorrow will be a better day, sigh.

Mommy's Little Helper

Kayla has grown so much. She can say a lot of things, such as seaweed, noodle, meat, water, milk, juice, apple, banana, etc., mostly the eatables she'll say when she wants to eat them. She loves to eat. If I give her something, she usually stuffs it all in her mouth at once and makes her cheeks puff out like balloons. Believe me she looks adorable like that. She talks about her pink baby blanket all day long. She'll stuff the corner of it in her mouth, and then she'll feel the side of the blanket between her fingers. She loves to say "hi" with a wave and "bye-bye". When a guest leaves, she says "bye-bye", shuts the front door quickly and shoves them out.

The Dad was folding laundry on the bedroom floor yesterday. He dumped out all the clothes on the floor from the basket to start. Kayla sensed the disarray and started picking up all the clothes and packing it back into the basket. What a little Mommy's helper already!! Big Smile. (Secret thought: I cannot wait 'til the day you start washing dishes for me...muahhahaha!)

MI MI

Yes I am your Mi Mi, and you are my La La.
You have the most beautiful smile I've ever seen...
I like how you smile so sweet when I look at you.
I like how you sit there and giggle for no reason.
I like how you stay in your tent house, eating your favorite seaweed
or you mini corn for half an hour.
I like how you drag your pink blanket with you and travel the world I love your beautiful eyes.
They sparkle so bright like the evening stars.
I love u my La La.

Your Mi Mi always.

12345

Hard to believe, Kayla said 12345 last night.  She said it so fast that it slurred together. But it was "12345" alright...  She seems to fall very frequently now.  Every time she falls, I ask if she's alright.  Confidently she always replies, "O-KAY!"

Cuteness

The most beautiful thing about her-
Is that contagious brilliant laughter
And those eyes that smile like the crescent moon
As delightful as the summer evening sky
